Invoice Payments
Get paid on the invoices you send
Your client pays by card through your own Stripe account, and Enlivy marks the invoice paid. Payment links and reminders follow up on what is still due.
Connect Stripe and send an invoiceFree account, no card needed.
INVOICE PAYMENTS
Your client pays, and the invoice shows it
Card payments mark the invoice paid. Bank transfers you mark paid yourself.
Connect your own Stripe account to Enlivy. When a client pays an invoice by card, the money goes to that account and Enlivy marks the invoice paid once Stripe confirms it. Enlivy takes no share of the payment.
For a bank transfer, you mark the invoice paid yourself. With the Banking pack, you can also link the bank transaction to it. Reminders and payment links follow up on the invoices that are still due.
-
Card payments to your Stripe
The client pays the full amount by card. Stripe confirms the payment, Enlivy marks the invoice paid and emails your client a confirmation.
-
Bank transfers, confirmed by you
In the client portal, your client sees your bank account, the amount and the reference to use. When the money arrives, you mark the invoice paid. With the Banking pack, you can also link the transfer to it.
-
Pro forma invoices
You mark a pro forma invoice paid when the transfer arrives. When it came from an accepted proposal, that also issues the final invoice, already paid.
-
Payment links
Send a link that pays one invoice by card, with no sign-in. The link works for 30 days, or until the invoice is paid.
-
Reminders before and after the due date
Enlivy emails the client from your connected mailbox, on the schedule you set.
Send an invoice your client can pay by card
Connect Stripe once, then send the invoice and let the payment mark it paid.
-
Connect your Stripe account
Connect the Stripe account you already use, or create one. Card payments go straight to it.
-
Send the invoice, or a payment link
Email the invoice from your connected mailbox. To ask for a card payment, use Send payment link on the invoice:
- Your client gets an email with the invoice and a link to pay it.
- The link opens a page that pays this invoice only, with no account to create.
-
Your client pays
Your client pays with a saved card or a new one. A new card is saved for later payments.
-
The invoice is marked paid
Once Stripe confirms the payment, Enlivy marks the invoice paid. If a confirmation is delayed, Enlivy checks with Stripe again every hour.
Proposals, contracts, invoices and payments
Send an invoice your client can pay by card
Connect your Stripe account, send the invoice and turn on payment reminders. The money goes to your account.
- Free to start
- No credit card required
- EU e-invoices (EN 16931, Peppol BIS 3.0)
PAYMENT LINKS
A link for the payments that need one more step
When a card payment needs one more step, your client gets a payment link, so the invoice can still be paid. You can also send one yourself.
-
When the bank asks for approval
Some banks ask the cardholder to approve a payment. Your client opens the link, approves it, or pays with another card.
-
When a card is declined
Enlivy does not charge a declined card again. Your client gets a link to pay with another card.
-
When you ask for a payment
Send a payment link yourself from an unpaid invoice you issued. Its follow-ups are the invoice's payment reminders, if you turned them on.
-
Full amount only
A link pays the whole invoice. For an invoice paid in part, record the rest yourself.
PAYMENT REMINDERS
Remind clients before and after the due date
Turn on payment reminders once for your organization. Enlivy emails each client from your connected mailbox, in the morning of your time zone. Reminders cover only invoices due after you turn them on.
-
Before the due date
Choose when the first reminders go out, such as 7 days and 3 days before the invoice falls due.
-
After the due date
Overdue reminders start the day after the due date and repeat every 7, 14 or 30 days.
-
When to stop
Set how many overdue reminders to send, up to 8, and how late an invoice can be before they stop.
-
Text the reminders too
Connect your own Twilio account, and a text follows each reminder email to clients with a phone number. Each text is billed to your Twilio account.
WHAT IS DUE
See what is overdue, and what is scheduled
Enlivy changes an invoice's status as its dates pass, so the list and your dashboard show what needs attention.
-
Overdue, on its own
An unpaid invoice past its due date moves to Overdue. Filter the invoice list by status to see them all.
-
On your dashboard
The Action Required widget counts your overdue invoices and opens the list filtered to them.
-
Scheduled invoices
An invoice with a future issue date waits as Scheduled until that date. You then send it.
-
Recurring invoices
With the Billing Schedules pack, Enlivy issues each recurring invoice, emails it and charges the saved card.
Works together with
- Invoices Issue an invoice and email it to your client. A card payment goes to your own Stripe account and the invoice is marked paid. A bank transfer you mark paid yourself.
- Billing Schedules Each cycle, Enlivy issues the invoice at the agreed price, emails it to your client and charges the saved card. You see what is paid and what is still due.
- Customer Portal Your clients accept the proposal and sign the contract from the links in your emails, and pay an invoice from the payment link you send. In a portal with your logo, they find their invoices, contracts and subscriptions, and sign in with an email code instead of a password.
- Bank Transactions Bring every transaction into Enlivy, synced from your bank, imported from a file or entered by hand, and link each one to the invoice, receipt or payslip it belongs to.
- Receipts Record money in and money out, keep the payment file with each receipt, and let Enlivy issue the receipt when you mark an invoice paid with one of the payment methods you set for automatic receipts.
- Dashboard Start the day with what is waiting on you, such as overdue invoices or bank transactions to classify, and open the list behind each one. Arrange the widgets for yourself, or for the whole team if you manage the organization.
- MCP Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or another MCP-compatible assistant to work with your invoices, contracts, and pipeline, within your own permissions.
