Since 2021
Our story so far
Enlivy started in 2021. Robert had spent 15 years building software for other people, and he wanted to build something of his own that would last. It has taken longer than we expected, and we have learned a lot on the way.

2021
Where it began
It began in September 2021. I started with the backend of the API. While I shaped the architecture, I issued the very first invoices by hand, through Postman.
To pay for the work and build a team, I also started enlivy.dev, our freelance branch. It took on client projects to bring money into the company.

2022
Looking for the right people
2022 was a year of searching. Building Enlivy's frontend to the standard I wanted was much harder than I expected. That year, I worked with three different frontend developers, and I was still looking for someone who could build it at the quality it needed.
It taught us how rare real craft is, and how much it matters. That is why we care so much about building things right, and why we are grateful to the people who later met that bar.

May 2023
First teambuilding
Our first teambuilding was in May 2023. We spent a weekend together in a cabin in the forest.
We shared stories, ate pizza, had a barbecue and relaxed by the pool.
That weekend showed us how well we work together, as people and as a team.

November 2024
WordCamp Romania
In November 2024, we went to WordCamp Romania in Poiana Brașov, and we had a great time.
It was part teambuilding, part conference. We met people from the WordPress community and listened to good talks.
We talked with developers, designers and business owners, learned new things, and grew closer as a team.

November 2025
Web Summit Lisbon
In 2025, we went to Web Summit Lisbon as a startup. We went to show Enlivy, meet people from many countries and share where we are going. It was our first big international conference as a team, and it made us think bigger.
We met founders, investors and builders from dozens of countries, and each conversation helped us explain Enlivy better. Lisbon itself, its streets, its food and its light, made it a trip we will not forget.
Our roots
We build software for a living
Enlivy began as a software studio, and the studio still runs as enlivy.dev. Over the years, we have built online stores, e-learning platforms, membership and publishing sites, and complex CRMs for our clients. We work in PHP, Laravel, Vue, React and Flutter.
That client work is where Enlivy comes from. It showed us what running a company takes each day, and where the usual tools leave people stuck. We built Enlivy to fix that, with the same craft and fixed-price reliability that our clients rate five stars. The reviews are below.
